What Is Long-Term Support?

Sites using a Long-Term Support (LTS) version of Umbraco, are on a stable and secure foundation designed for long-term success. LTS versions receive regular security updates and critical bug fixes for a full two years, followed by an additional year of security-only support—giving you a total of three years of peace of mind.

This means sites can be confidently built, managed, and grow your digital presence without the pressure of frequent upgrades or disruptive changes. With a focus on stability and performance, LTS is ideal for organizations that prioritize reliability, compliance, and operational continuity. 

Keeping your Site Supported

Long-Term Support (LTS) version of Umbraco are in a strong position, but there are smart next steps to help them stay secure, optimized, and future-ready. Recommended Next Steps for LTS Sites:

  1. Stay current with patch releases.
  2. Review security & compliance against your industry's evolving requirements.
  3. Begin planning for future upgrades.

Long-Term Support Versions

Versions that have reached their End of Life no longer receive updates or support. The follow versions are currently in Long-Term Support:​

  • Umbraco 13: Latest Release: 10.4.2 (March 2025
  • Umbraco 10: Latest Release: 13.1.0 (February 2025)
